MFA MEMBERSHIPS

Benefits as an individual member of MFA

MFA is an advocate in addressing member's concerns with public agencies and the legislature affecting forest management programs and policies.
Members receive a subscription to the "Better Forests" magazine published quarterly.
Members receive a bi-monthly newsletter "Minnesota FORESTS" that keeps members up-to-date on forest management issues and events of interest.
Members receive a subscription to the National Woodlands Owners Association's (NWOA) "National Woodlands" magazine that is published quarterly. As an affiliate of the National Association, MFA has a voice in Washington, D.C.
Members receive an updated edition of the "Minnesota Forest Resource Management Directory" at the beginning of each year. The directory lists loggers trained in the implementation of forest management guidelines, consultants and local agency offices that provide private forest management assistance, and MFA members.
Members are eligible to receive discounts for participating in the Woodland Advisor educational program.
Members receive announcements on forestry related educational programs and are eligible to register at many of those events at a discounted price as MFA members.
Members at their option can be connected to local chapters.
